War and Lies

All this war, famine, disease and lies
Yet blue doors are what get the cries?
Ignorance is a bliss
As significant affairs get dismissed
It’s easy to look the other way
But what about the ones who are in dismay?
“Your suffering will be honored” they say
“We are in this together!” they say
But when there is a turn of events, they scurry away
All these petitions, donations, presentations
How much of an influence does it (actually) make?
The wolves howl for just a while
And get back to their feeding time on it
Once it is in archives
All these tantrums they put up
It’s all over
Its’ all over
Let us breathe
Let us live
We’ve lost so much just as it is
From these frauds, from these freaks
We are the once who suffer quietly
No longer are we your pawns
Enough of these wars, famine, disease and lies.

(We’ll give you a reason that hurts more than a blue to make you cry…)
